This is one of my favourite glaze combinations. It shows off the honey coloured clay, hints at the firing and manages to be colourful at the same time. It really suits these irregular forms.
Here’s a lovely closeup, showing off the curve in the rim.
And another showing a typical foot. You can see how the turquoise glaze darkens where it’s been applied thicker and the stamp from my makers mark in the centre.
And finally, for those that scrolled down, you can see what they look like inside. These are accidental spirals. Some pots have them, some don’t. It’s the hand of the maker at work.
